No electrical box? Not a problem, this light can be made into a plug in wall sconce that can be mounted anywhere, add-on can be found here:

Compatible with medium base bulbs (E26) including Edison style, LED, Halogen and CFL.
Approximate Fixture Measurements:
- Base: 5 inches
- Shades Size: 4-1/2 W X 6-1/4 H inches (each)
- Width: 14" (when the shades are closer side by side)
- Height: 10 inches
- Total Projection: About 14 inches (as pictured, from the wall to the outer side of the fixture)
- These measurements can be modified to fit your requirements with a custom order
*Note that the arms' length can be custom sized for you if you require it.

This sconce can be installed either in ceilings or walls.
